🙋 Recipe FAQ's
Does this Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce recipe fit the keto diet?
This recipe is technically a dirty keto recipe due to the fact that the diet soda is sweetened with an unapproved keto sweetener. If you want to be keto friendly try this brand of diet soda.
Why is my BBQ Sauce not thickening?
The barbecue sauce should be simmered on a low setting until it thickens. As the sauce reduces from the simmering, it should evaporate and thicken naturally. If not, add ½ tablespoon more of tomato paste to aid in thickening the sauce.
