How to reenable achievements in Starfield? ›

Rebooting the game will typically cause Steam to re-enable achievements. In Starfield, console commands will create a separate save file from ones where you don't have them enabled. If you have an achievement that did not unlock, check that you completed everything that needs to be accomplished in order to unlock it.

Delete the Console History Log File

Achievements will be disabled if you use console commands or install mods to your game. However, you can bypass this by deleting the StarfieldConsoleHistory. log file. You can find the file by heading to the Documents>My Games>Starfield folder on your PC.

PC achievement security measures

Simply opening the console will not disable achievements; a command must be entered and run via the console. In either case, achievements can be re-enabled by exiting the game completely and re-loading the game.

Any use of the console, will disable the achievements and give your savefile the suffix [MODDED]. This does not mean you cannot use the console without losing the achievements and without mods, but it does take some preparations.

Resetting an achievement

You can only reset player progress data for your draft achievements. To reset achievements in the Google Play Console, click the button labeled Reset achievement progress at the bottom of the form for that event.

Achievements can be removed or reset with the /achievement command. To do this you can type /achievement take * [player name] If you want to do this for all players, you can use @a instead of their name. If you cant use commands in your world, you can open your world to lan, and allow commands to bypass this.

All achievements can be obtained before completing the final mission except Starcrossed. The 4 characters you can romance in the game are: Sarah Morgan, Sam Coe, Andreja, and Barrett.

The solution? You guessed it: A mod. The mod in question is called Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE), and what it does is very simple: "Prevents achievements from being disabled with mods or when using the console." It's not too difficult to get running, either.

The only cheats that disable trophies are the ones that require you to use testcheats on which then prompts you that the trophies will be disabled in that world. You won't wont be able to turn it off and return it to normal even if you don't save.

If the achievement appears under “Locked Achievements,” either the achievement was not successfully unlocked, or the console hasn't synchronized with the Xbox network. Allow up to 72 hours for this synchronization to take place.

Only the items that specifically say Achievement Friendly don't disable achievements. Everything else does and creates a separate, modded save file.

Unfortunately, re-activating achievements is only possible if you have a backup from before Cheats or Creative mode was enabled. If no backups are available, then that world will remain without achievements enabled.
