My kids and I really enjoyed the strawberry lemonade from Wendy’s last time we grabbed lunch there. It is super refreshing and one of my new favorite lemonades. I knew I had to make a copycat recipe for it once I tried it.

💛 Why you’ll love this recipe

This copycat lemonade is so easy to replicate at home. You just need a few ingredients.

🍋 Ingredients needed

Copycat Wendy's Strawberry Lemonade (3)

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Filtered water
  • Sugar
  • Lemons: You will need 4 to 6 large lemons.
  • Seedless strawberry jam: If you’ve ever had a strawberry lemonade from Wendy’s you’ll notice that there are no actual strawberries in it. They use a commercial strawberry puree but strawberry jam will give you almost exactly the same results and you can find it in your local grocery store.
  • Citric acid: This gives the lemonade a stronger flavor and a little sour/tang like the kind at Wendy’s. Make sure you use food grade citric acid. I was able to find mine at the bulk bin at my local grocery store but Amazon also carries it.

⏲️ Recipe instructions (step by step guide)

Copycat Wendy's Strawberry Lemonade (6)

Begin by placing the sugar and water into a small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer and whisk together until completely dissolved. Stir in the strawberry jam and also whisk until dissolved (image 1).

Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool. Juice one cup of juice from your lemons (image 2).

Combine everything in a pitcher with ¼ of a teaspoon of citric acid and 3 cups of cold water (image 3). Mix with a large spatula and serve chilled. You can add more water or lemon juice to taste, if needed.

👩🏻‍🍳 Tips

  • Use seedless strawberry jam for the best results.

🥡 How to store leftovers

This lemonade should be stored in your refrigerator. It will be good for up to four days after making.
